n2/v-n1/u=n2-n1/r
in case of plane surfaces radius of curvature [r] is infinity.
hence, n2-n1/r=0.
substitute this in equation , we get formula for plane surfaces, i.e
n2/v-n1/u=0
==>n2/v=n1/u.
