For many solids that are dissolved in water solubility increases with rise in temperature. The increase in the kinetic energy which is brought about by the rise in temperature allows the solvent molecules to effectively break down the solute molecules which are held together by intermolecular attractions. As this intermolecular attractions are broken down it paves a path for more solute molecules to be added and dissolved in the solvent.Hence the amount of solute that can be dissolved in a liquid increases when the liquid is heated.
