when a litmus paper is dipped in soap solution , its colour changes to blue .however,when the litmus paper is dipped in vineger its colour changes to red. why only experts answer this question

because soap solution is basic in nature and vinegar is acidic in nature as we know Litmus colour is blue when it is dipped in base and Litmus colour change to red when dipped in acidic solution.
