\huge\boxed{\rm\green{ Plasmolysis}}

Plasmolysis is the process by which a plant cell loses water when kept in hypertonic solution causing shrinkage in the cell.

We have not been given that this cell is a plant cell.We have come to know that it is a plant cell as ; in the question cell wall is used.And we know that only plants have cell wall , not animal cells.

Osmosis :

\rm\green{ Osmosis} is the process by which water passes in or out of the cell . Note that water always passes from the region of higher concentration to lower concentration.

This process depends upon the type of solution.

There are 3 types of solutions.

\boxed{\rm\purple{ Hypertonic\: solution :- }}

In a hypertonic solution the solute is more in the inner region as compared to the outer side ; so the water moves outwards . This process is called exosmosis.

In plants this process has a special term called Plasmolysis.

\boxed{\rm\pink{ Hypotonic \:solution :- }}

In a Hypotonic solution the solute is more in the outer region as compared to inner side ; so water moves inwards causing the cell to swell. This process is called as endosmosis.

In plants due to the presence of cell wall , it won't burst .

But the cell may burst in case of animal cell.

\boxed{\rm\orange{ Isotonic\: solution:-}}

In an Isotonic solution the solute concentration is equal in both the inner and outer regions so there would be no net movement of water.
