When magnesium ribbon is dipped into copper sulphate solution the colour of the solution fades away and magnesium ribbon gets coated with the brown layer .

Explanation:

a). The layer that is formed on the surface of magnesium is that of magnesium oxide. Magnesium is an extremely reactive metal.

c. A chemical equation is the symbolic representation of a chemical reaction in the form of symbols and formulae, wherein the reactant entities are given on the left-hand side and the product entities on the right-hand side.

d. In order of decreasing reactivity, the metals potassium, sodium, lithium, calcium, magnesium, zinc, iron and copper can be put in order of their reactivity from their reactions with water and dilute acids.

I hope it help you..

sorry don't know about b

have a great day ahead
