when a metal ball is dropped in to water it sinks with a acceleration 1/4th of acceleration due to gravity. find specific gravity of the metal

since gravity=mass*acceleration
so acceleration=a/4
then gravity=m*a/4
4*gravity=m*a
(it is being already told that gravity =m*a. So m*a= gravity)
so
gravity=4*g( m*a=gravity i.e. g)
And=4*gravity
