Good Question.Thanks for asking.

When metal dish falls on floor it makes sound. This property is called as Sonorous property .

All metals like Iron, Aluminium, stainless steel and copper untensils possess Sonorous property means capable of producing a ringing sound when we strike them.

We can stop this effect of producing sound only by making the utensil with a non metal like wood...

All non metals are not sonorous. They do not make a ringing sound when we strike them.
