All the metals above (Hydrogen ) in metal reactivity series (K, Na, Ca, Mg,AL, Zn,Cr,Fe,Ni) will react with dilute HCL acid and evolute hydrogen gas.

But,

In the metals below hydrogen in metal reactivity series (Cu,Ag,Hg,Pb,Au) are fail to displace hydrogen gas from dilute HCL acid.

therefore, there is no gas evolution of hydrogen.
