When a monochromatic light ray passes through a glass prism, in the usual notation i=e= 49 and A=60
What is the angle of deviation?

Answer

Since i=e , therefore it is 2i

A=60

Angle of deviation =2i-A

=(2*49) -60

=98-60

= 38
