When a motor car makes a sharp turn we tend to move towards one direction because of inertia. The inertia of our body tends to resist the movement of the motor car and this leads us getting thrown to one side.

This is because,
when the motor car is in motion
then it has kinetic energy in it which is being converted into velocity.
But when it turns, its direction of velocity changes as it is a vector force
During the time of turning, an external imaginary force known as centrifugal force which tends all the velocity towards one side which tends the person to be thrown towards one side
This is simple physics
CONVERSION OF ONE FORM OF ENERGY TO THE OTHER
HOPE IT HELPS
