Solution:

  • r = 50 cm
  • arc length = 16 cm
  • Concept: Area Related to Circles (Class 10)

→ ∅/360° × 2πr = Length of arc

→ ∅/360° × 2 × 3.14 × 50 cm = 16 cm

→ ∅/360° × 314 = 16

→ ∅ = 16 × 360°/314

→ ∅ = 18° (approx)

\huge{\underline{\underline{\red{\mathfrak{Answer :}}}}}

\tt Given \begin{cases} \sf{Length \: (l) \: = \: 16 cm}  \\  \sf{r \: = \: 50} \end{cases}

Use formula :

\Large{\boxed{\sf{\theta \: = \: \dfrac{length}{Perimeter}}}}

\rightarrow {\sf{length \: = \: \dfrac{\theta}{360} \: \times \: 2 \: \pi r}}

\rightarrow {\sf{16 \: = \: \dfrac{\theta}{360} \: \times \: 2(3.14)(50)}}

\rightarrow {\sf{16 \: = \: \dfrac{\theta}{360} \: \times \: 314}}

\rightarrow {\sf{\theta \: = \: \dfrac{16 \: \times \: 360}{314}}}

\rightarrow {\sf{\theta \: = \: 18.34}}

∴ Angle is 18° Approximate
