When a person falls from a height how does he fall on the ground?

The person falls due to gravitational force and he falls straight if there is no external disturbances

  • When a person hits on cemented floor he is brought to rest in a very short time as a result of which a greater force comes into action in a very small time whereas in case of sand if a person falls he takes an interval to come to rest and hence, less force comes into action.
