When a person is given freedom  to set his own targets, evaluate  own performance, take  corrective measures as and when  required is Self Control

  • A prime element of characteristic skills constituting for an emotional Intellect  is self control. A person has the freedom to set own goals, review own results, and take corrective measures.
  • Self Control is concerned with how an individual and their proper feelings, inner energy and cognitive skills are carefully monitored and they handle themselves.
  • It, in addition, requires personal capacity to handle one's impulses. In an organisation, leaders with more elevated levels of self-control display more effective leadership styles.
