according to newtons 3 rd law of motion every action has equal and opposite reaction. with how much force he kits stone same force is applied on his foot. so he gets pain
a cricket player lower his hands while catching a ball to not get injured . as baller throws ball with high speed it gains more momentum . as force = change in momentum / time .that is time is inversely proportional to time . so the player should increases stopping time to decrease force acting on him . so he lower his hands to increase time so force of ball on him decreases
