A junction diode is said to be a reversed baised when the positive terminal of the external battery is connected to n region and the negative terminal is connected to the p region of the diode.

Thus there is no current due to the  flow of the majority carriers.

But there will be a flow of micro current or a very small reversed current that is in micro amperes.

The reverse current increases with increase in temperature.

In reverse bias the direction f electric field is same as the  direction of diode(barrier field.
