the refile when fired at a distant target,the barrel is not lined up exactly on the target because when the bullet is passed it limit distance it slows down and the gravity act on it so the refile didn't reach exactly target..

It is because due to gravity, the bullet moves in parabolic path. So it falls vertically and should be aimed above the target.
