when a seed is completely immersed in water it does not germinate, it develops only a small radicle as it get temperature and water but no oxygen. But how is that possible? I mean there is oxygen mixed in water, isn't it ??

Ans. Water has diffused water in it but the seed other plants don't have the technique by which they will extract the oxygen,,, like fishes have gill,,, you remember the aerial or breathing roots of the mangroves.......
