When a sharjah sheikh is walking alone on a desert. He was suffering from hunger. He has only a hammer on his hand. How can he stop the hunger?

He can stop his hunger by killing himself with the hammer then there will be no hunger .
OR
or if he hit any part of his body with the hammer then his mind would concentrate on the pain on that part of the body and then he will feel no hunger
