Hey,
When we put an iron nail in copper sulphate solution, a displacement reaction takes place. Iron will displace copper, and after sometime, you will see reddish brown copper deposit on the bottom of test tube.
Reaction -
Fe (s) + CuSo4 ( aq) => Cu (s) + FeSo4 (aq)
