Because iron is more reactive than copper it displaces copper from copper sulphate to form iron sulphate because of this phenomena iron from iron vessel gets mixed with sulphate solution because of this there were no. of holes
Fe + Cuso4=Feso4+Cu
alternative answer
The higher equation of iron displaces copper from CuSO4 and it is being consumed then holes appears on the pot.
This should come with metal displace and lower order metal do it so.
On the other hand, the Cu changes to Cu metal and consider it accordingly.
It displaces from CuSO4 and iron is being consumed then holes.
