When a sound wave hit a bare wall, it gets reflected. This is similar to the bouncing of a rubber ball when it hits the ground. The reflection of the sound wave produces an effect called echo. Can you name and describe an example in which this reflection of sound waved can be used for navigation or locating objects?

Answer:
bats and some marine animals use this principal and it is called echolocation where they make a high frequency sound which reflects from particular surface to it's ear and by it determines the location of that object by how quick the sound comes back to it's ears
