when a stone is dipped in a glass containing some water the level of water rises but when a spoon of sugar is added to it and stirred the water level does not arise​

Answer:

because the sugar dissolves into to the space between the water molecules hence not affecting it's mass

but it increases the density

this is because sugar particles are very very small and they get mixed in the water particles and does not let the water level rise
