When a stone is dropped from the top of a tower with a height 250m . find the velocity just before reaching the ground.​

Hence in 10 second , it's speed is 10*9.8 = 98m/s . It can be calculated by the most famous formulas of physics i.e. Acceleration due to Gravity is 32 ft/sec^2. If the stone takes 10 seconds to hit the ground, the height 'h' of the tower is given by h = 0*10 + (1/2)*32*10^2 = 1600 ft.
