when a stone is thrown vertically upwardas its gravitational pull moves to negative , thus it has potential energy as potential energy = mgh and when we exerted some force at upward direction it gains velocity thus it has kinetic energy as kinetic energy = 1/2mvv and when the stone reaches its maximum point all its kinetic energy is converted to potential energy and when it comes backs to ground all its energy is gained by ground ,,,...... hope you are benefitted and mark me as brainlist for upcomimg answers ..... #mark me brainlist .
