WHEN A SUBSTANCE IS IMMERSED IN A LIQUID ITS MARKS DECREASES DUE TO BUOYANCY.

BUOYANT FORCE ACT ON IT AND IT DISPLAYS THE SAME AMOUNT OF LIQUID THAT IS EQUAL TO THE MASS OF SUBSTANCE.

MASS OF LIQUID IS = TO MASS OF LIQUID DISPLACE.

HOPE IT HELPS!!!!

Mass of an object does not change where ever it is placed.
Only the weight of the object changes as per the forces acting on the object.
