when a tall and dwarf pea plants were crossed,F1 progeny showed only tall plants but in F2 generation,some plants were dwarf .explain the law​

Hence in the F2 gen when two of these F1 were crossed it produced

3:1 tall and dwarf ratio

This led mendel to conclusion of three laws (which is now combined as two)

1.Law of Dominance

2.Law of Segregation

3. Law of independent assortment

1. 3. Means that only one is a dominant gene and thats only transferred

2. Says that either paternal or maternal gene is passed at a time not both

However, incomplete dominance etc..

Proved them wrong we consider 1. Law to be universal
