when a terr is shaken ,its fruits and leaves fall down why?

when a tree is shaken its fruit and leaves fall down because of the inertia of rest due to which it tends to maintain its state of rest and when we shake the tree, it maintains its state of rest and fall down.

Because it have it's own mass ie inertia when external force act at once it falls down
