when a train started from station A, there was certain number of passengers in it .On next station 1/11th of these passengers got down and 20% of these got down passengers got into the train.Now if the number of passengers in the train is 510, how many passengers were there in the train at station A?

x - 1 \div 11 + 1 \div 5 = 510
On first station the no. Of passengers were x
On next station the no. Of passengers got down
x-1/11=11x-1/11
20% got into train
20/100 =1/5
(11x-1)/11+1/5=510
