When a tree is shaken, its fruits and leaves fall down. Why?

because the leaves are in the state of rest and when you shake the tree the tree changes its state to the state of motion but the fruit doesnt so the stem by which them are connected to the tree moves with the tree and a lot of force is apllied on the stem so it breakes of and thus the fruit and the leaves fall.
