Hey dear !!
When we shook a tree, then some of its leaves and fruits fall down or gets detached from the tree.
This is because the branches of the tree come into motion, whereas the leaves and fruits tend to remain at rest due to "INERTIA OF REST".
Thus, the leaves and fruits get separated from the branch of the tree and fall down under the action of "GRAVITY".
Hope this helps you dear!!
