when a vector is divided by scalar quantity then it's vector or scalar​

Answer:

because the scalar quantity only modifies the magnitude of the vector. Say, if you have a speed of 2 m/s towards north then if you reduce it to half, then only its magnitude changes. the direction remains intact.
