Let me tell you , when these acids react with bases they form a salt and water. This reaction is called neutralisation reaction.

Now this salt, will be acidic when a strong acid and weak base react.

The salt will be basic, when weak acid and strong base react.

The salt will be neutral when strong acid and strong base or when weak acid and weak base react.
