when action and reaction are equal and opposite then why don't they cancel each other​

because two forces cancel each other when they are acting on the same body and are equal.

Here action reaction are equal but act on different bodies.

hey there...!

Newton's 3rd law state that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. this means that forces always act in pair ....but they are not balanced force ...coz they act on different object...so they don't cancle out...
