Answer:

  • The statement is very much true. It depicts the reality of today’s life and carelessness. The statement speaks specifically about eagles, fish, and water. But the general term, the environment is a very major concern according to the present time conditions.
  • Eagles and fish are parts of the food chain and are on some trophic level of the food chain. If they will be harmed or completely distinct then it will affect the whole food chain. As the carnivores or their primary consumers will die due to a lack of food.
  • Water is very important for survival.  Drinking water is in decimals as compared to the total available water on the earth, that too is getting depleted due to water pollution. Water pollution not only makes water unsuitable for drinking but also affects the water life (flaura and fauna of the water).
  • People will realize later that money cannot be eaten. It is a harsh truth of being human that the realization occurs after the destruction, which is of no use then. Hence, we should be aware of the present bad condition of the environment and take some action. Otherwise, things will become irreplaceable at one point in time and no one will be able to do anything.
