Answer:

when an ant bites it leaves acid called METHANOIC ACID which is acidic in nature ,so when we rub baking soda which is basic in nature ,it neutralizes the effect of ant sting. To minimize the effect and harm we rub the baking soda.

If you are unlucky and got an ant bite causing you to jump up and down so just rub Baking Soda a.k.a Sodium Bicarbonate on it.
