When an elephant drags a wooden log over the land, the forces that are applied on the log are muscular force, gravitational force and frictional force.

The force executed by the action of the muscles in the body is called muscular force.

The force applied by the earth on the objects over its surface is called gravitational force, while the force that opposes the motion of the object is called frictional force.
