When an object is placed in front of mirror M1, a real image of the same size as the object is formed and when the same object is kept in front of mirror M2, a virtual and diminished image is formed
a) Identify the mirror M1 and mirror M2.
b) Mention the position of the object in front of the mirror M1.​

convex because it does not form

real image (that can be formed on a screen).

So, the mirror has to be

conceal. In case of concave mirror,

the real image is formed if the

object distance greater than focal

length. For enlarged real image

the object should be placed

between the center and focus of

the mirror. The image formed

will be real, enlarged and inverted

so, the magnification will be -2.
