On 29 August 1947, the Constituent Assembly set up a Drafting Committee under the Chairmanship of Dr. B.R.Ambedkar to prepare a draft Constitution for India.

on 29 August 1947 , by  Dr.BR.Ambedhkar the Indian constitution was drafted.

its provisions are:

• free and compulsary education

• no discrimination based on sex, religion, caste etc.

• One person,one vote, one value.

• all citizens above tge age of 18 must have right to vote
