The British East India company
Explanation:
The Mughal Emperor Farrukhshiyar issued a ' royal firman' to the British known as Dastak or pass in Persian.
The Dastak allows the British East India company to do free trade in Bengal, Bihar and Madras. The Dastak gave the British to carry out free export and import of goods.
The company's servants were also allowed to trade but have to pay taxes as same as Indian merchants.
The British established their Trading centers in Surat, Madras, Bombay and Calcutta.
