Swami Dayanand Saraswati ji established Paropkarini Sabha in 1883 in Udaipur. Maharana Udaipur was the first Chairman and among other members Shri MahaDeo Govind Ranade, Shri Gopal Hari DeshMukh, Shri Shyamji Krishna Verma were nominated. It appears Swami Dayanand felt about the Paropkarini sabha at the time of his demise.
