Guru Gobind Sing was born in Patna, the present-day capital of Bihar in the year 1666. His father was Guru Tegh Bahadur and mother was Mata Gujri.
He was the tenth Guru of the Sikh religion. He was a great warrior, philosopher, and a poet. He became the Sikh guru at the age of nine.
