1st of all photorespiration is totally different from normal respiration
It occurs only in C3 plants
It occurs when there is deficiency of CO2
It is because co2 receptor that is preasentin c3 plants i.e. RuBisCO shows same affectionate to O2 saof CO2
it is a wasteful process becoz
.there is consumption of atp
.there is no formation of glucose
. there is input of O2 and output of CO2
