Answer:
Total apples for distribution= 60
given ratio= 9:11
let the common ratio be a
then the ratio for giving apples be 9a and 11a
9a + 11a= 60
20a= 60
a= 60/20
a= 30
then the value of a is 30
so the ratio will be
9a = 9x30= 270
11a= 11x30= 330
first we simplify our ratio
9:11= 9a/11a=270/330= 27/33
so the first person get 27 apples and the second person get 33 apples

Answer:
two people(take as A, B ) got apples in ratio 9:11
So, A gets 9 parts and B gets 11 parts
Ratio=9:11
=9+11=20
Then, A should get 9 parts out of 20
B should get 11 parts out of 20
A gets =9/20 of the total numbers of apples=9/20x60=27
B gets=11/20 of the total numbers of apples =11/20x60=33
Therefore A gets 27 apples, and B gets 33 apples.
