Telangana: Parents meet education minister, seek reopening of schools. HYDERABAD: Members of the Telangana Parents Association met the state education minister Sabitha Indra Reddy on Saturday and appealed to her to reopen schools and other educational institutions by Sankranthi i.e. mid-January.

So, For this academic year, schools will commence from June 12. According to a new academic calendar for 2020-2021 formulated by the Directorate of School Education and approved by the State government, schools will have summer vacation from April 23 to Jun 11.
