For maximum temperature:

The maximum temperature of the day occurs in the afternoon time (in the middle of the day). Because in the noon sun is overhead and gives the maximum radiations. Also, it looks white in colour in noon time because in noon time , sun is overhead and contains almost all it's compont colours in the right proportion. Hence, look white in colour.

For minimum temperature:

As there is less sunlight in the early morning. Also, after completing the previous night the earth's surface cools down. Results in, minimum temperature.
