Heya.......!!!
Two waves of the same frequency are in phase if they cross the x axis at the same point in the same direction, otherwise they are out of phase.
if they are in phase, then the waves will go up together, and down together. If the waves add up, then they give a bigger wave, and if they are out of phase, when one goes down, the other comes up, and when they add up, you get a Smaller wave .
