Arya Samaj:

The Arya Samaj was started by Dayananda Saraswati in Bombay in 1875.
Arya Samaj worked against caste system, child marriages, untouchability superstitions, polytheism, orthodox practices and they encouraged widow marriages.
The organisation brought about immense changes in the religious perceptions of Indians.
