Given,
Diameter of the circular path (d) = 200 m
Radius (r) = d/2
= (200/2) m
= 100 m
pi = 3.14
Circumference of the Circle = 2*pi*r
= 2*3.14*100 m
= 628 m
i. This means to complete one round, one has to travel 628 m.
Time taken to cover 628 m = 20 seconds
Distance Covered in 1 second = 628/20 m
= 31.4 m
Distance Covered in 70 seconds = (31.4*70) m
= 2198 m
ii. Displacement at the end of 70 seconds = (628*3) = 1884 m
= (2198-1884) m
= 314 m
The Distance Covered in 20 seconds is 628 m and Displacement after 70 seconds is 314 m.
I hope this helps.
