when displacement of an object is zero. then average velocity becomes zero.
examples;
1. when an object returns to its source that is initial position average velocity becomes zero.
2. when an object moves in circular path. average velocity becomes zero

Answer:

If a trip/body starts and ends at the same point, is total displacement is zero, and hence average velocity becomes zero.

ex:- when a body travels in circular path, its initial point and final point are the same so it's average velocity will be zero.

hope it helps!
