heya!
good question!

Babur came to India in 1526 CE

Babur became the ruler of Hindustan by defeating the army of Ibrahim Lodi in the first battle of panipath.

Daulat Khan,  the Governor of Punjab & Rana Sanga, the ruler of Mewar, rebelled against Imbrahim Lodi & invited Babur (who was actually the ruler of kabul), to attack India.

Babur was also attracted towards the fabulous wealth of India, so he came to India in 1526 CE and attacked Ibrahim Lodi.

Hope it helps
